DOTA 2 Update - February 21, 2013

CHANGELOG

  • Added In-game Guides and Hero Builds!
  • Players can now be a member of multiple teams.


GAMEPLAY

  • Fixed backswing behavior on some of Invoker's skills.
  • Fixed Last Word being dispelled by Purge/Cyclone/etc.
  • Fixed Last Word interrupting channeling spells if the initial duration ends during the channel.
  • Enabled Medusa in Captain's Mode tournament version.
  • Fixed Healing Ward not preserving its hotkey when leveled up.


UI

  • Added right click menu to the combat log with "Copy to clipboard" option.
  • Added option to render the Co-Broadcaster's camera. Use dota_minimap_draw_cocaster_camera 0 to disable.
  • Added new right click option to backpack items to equip the entire set the item belongs to.


BOTS

  • Adjusted hero roles of Windrunner (fewer last hits) and Meepo (more last hits).
  • Made Death Prophet bot more likely to use Crypt Swarm in teamfights.
  • Made Necrolyte bot a bit more hesitant about using Death Pulse when laning.
  • Fixed bots dropping thousands of TP scrolls at the side shops.
  • Practice with Bots difficulty and team settings are now saved.


UPDATE

  • Added text for when you're not on your team's roster but are on the Team Matchmaking page.
  • When you have a complete party that matches your active team, its logo will now show up on your mini profile.
  • Fixed performance bug in Morphling's Morph ability.
  • Added a large number of items to the random loot drop lists.

TREANT PROTECTOR — Rooftrellen | Item Build | DotA

Treant Protector is a vital hero that plays the role of a Support hero and can be a Tanker when equipped with strength items. His skills are very effective in healing not just for his allies but also to the towers. This ability is good for regeneration but his ultimate skills is a good choice of disable. When equipped with powerful items, Rooftrellen can play aggressive rather than support.

The early game item build of Treant Protector can be the following:

Quelling Blade – This helps Treant Protector to kill easily when creeping for better farming.
Ancient Tango of Essifation – This item helps Treant Protector to regenerate when in mid health condition.
Healing Salve – This item helps Treant Protector to regenerate more fast whenever he is in a low health condition.
Ironwood Branch – This item grants each attributes for Treant Protector giving him more strength and toughness.
Magic Stick – This helps you to counter spell caster enemy heroes.
Stout Shield – This helps you to defend yourself against harassing enemy heroes.

The mid game item build for Treant Protector can be the following:

Arcane Boots – This boots gives him mana and speed.
Soul Ring – This gives mana and additional health regeneration to Treant Protection.
Vanguard – This item gives him Health Points and toughness during the game. This item can be maintained until the late game.
Radiance – As a fast farmer game he can easily built this item during the mid game. This item helps him in farming and grants him attack damage.
Ancient Tango of Endurance – This gives additional speed and strength to Treant Protector.
Hyperstone – This item helps him to do more attack speed. This can be upgraded to Assault Cuirass.
Black King Bar – This helps him to tank and hit more during clash preventing spells to cast on him.
Kelen's Dagger – This can help him to gank, escape and chase enemies.

The late game item build for Treant Protector can be the following:

Assault Cuirass – This item grants him attack speed and armor.
Basher – This item helps him to stop escaping heroes and grants him damage.
Heart of Tarrasque – This grants him massive strength adding more health points.
Mekansm – This grants his allies more regeneration aura.
Khadgar's Pipe of Insight – This grants Treant Protector additional magic defense.
Butterfly – This item gives Treant Protector more attack speed and grants evasion that counters other melee enemy heroes.
